“The World Environment Day is an opportunity for a serious reflection on the historic moment we are living. A moment of several emergencies, pandemic and climatic. A moment of concern, at local and global level, for the human and environmental destiny. This year, the World Environment Day, is dedicated to the biodiversity and its important role for the health of society and for its value as an indicator of the quality of the environment and human life. It is a reflection not addressed only to the experts but needed at all levels of our society.”
Prof. Marti Boada shared with us his message for this important day.
Professor Boada, geographer, naturalist and Doctor in Environmental Sciences is full professor and researcher at the Department of Geography and at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, UAB).
